Kate Holter, the child Nutrition Educator, conducts a nutrition curriculum within the MPS school day, while also providing over 250 low-income students seven field trips to the Hunger Task Force Farm. There, students learn to plant, grow, harvest, and cook with fresh produce that they grow in their own quarter-acre school garden. It is a truly holistic "Farm-to-Table" experience that offers students an opportunity to build healthy lifestyles.
