The Alliance for a Healthier Generation – founded by the American Heart Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation – works to combat one of the nation’s leading health threats, childhood obesity.
Level 2 Certification requires ten (10) hours of training in each Nutrition Education and Safety & Sanitation. SNA-WI traditionally offers approved courses for these in conjunction with the Annual State Conference. These courses are also offered other times throughout the year.

Sanitation and Safety: ServSafe
There are no upcoming ServSafe courses in WI.
Level 2 Certification also requires additional training in each of the Key Areas as dictated by SNA. Keys to Excellence is a best practice standards tool for school nutrition professionals to use to assess, benchmark, and improve their school food and nutrition operations. Attendees of the SNA-WI Annual State Conference can obtain needed hours by attending the keynote and breakout presentations offered, and also by taking other courses that fall into these categories.
