DPI's Linda Kreuger Recognized for Work with Food Allergies

Linda Kreuger, Child Nutrition Consultant with the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School Nutrition Team, has been recognized by the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) with the Mariel C. Furlong Award for Making a Difference. The award recognizes outstanding contributions by persons or organizations that have addressed the needs of individuals with food allergies through advocacy, outreach, and educational programs. Junior Chefs Make Good Choices

Katie Wilson, West Salem Schools, has been selected to present her session, ‘Junior Chefs Make Good Choices’ at the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) 2 nd National Nutrition Education Conference, being held September 12-14, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington , VA.
